Hello my ragtime gal!
April 11th is Barbershop Quartet Day and what better way to celebrate than with a barbershop version of an 80s favorite, The Ragtime Gals: Roxanne (w/ Sting).
You can find even more from the Ragtime Gals by searching via YouTube. It’s believed that this day was created by the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America to recognize the founding of their society. Be sure to use #BarbershopQuartetDay on social media if you do anything special to celebrate this day.
Tailor-made tech
AUTHOR | HP Technology at Work
Have you ever wanted your devices to adapt to your individual workflows, conditions, and the time of day? You may soon get your wish, and your business will likely benefit.1
When it comes to technology, we rarely have the ability or budget to pursue solutions tailored to our particular needs or tasks. Like a bespoke suit, personalized technology might be the better fit, but it's also been the exclusive domain of governments and global enterprises—the only entities who can afford a custom-designed $100 million super computer cluster, or one-of-a-kind operating system.2 That’s quickly changing.

And advances in computer hardware and software are making customized tech solutions available to small- and medium-size businesses for the first time as well. That means unprecedented efficiency and specialization at a fraction of previous costs. Read More
Spring Cleaning for your Tech & Computers
AUTHOR | Renee Hansen @ThinkSpace IT
Spring is here and we all love to spring clean right!? Ok, maybe washing walls and scrubbing carpets aren’t the best ways to spend a Saturday, but it sure is worth it when the job is done. The same is true when it comes to keeping your computers and other technology items in tiptop shape!
Antivirus is VITAL. What…you don’t have it? Hackers are becoming more sophisticated in creating new viruses! You need to update or install this ASAP.
Pa$sW0rd$ - Are you still using the SAME password for everything!? Stop that right now! If hackers can figure out your password they will have access to everything from social media to email to financials. Keep a log of the different passwords in a SAFE PLACE. Check out SplashData’s list of the worst passwords of 2015.
Downsize - Check for unused programs, move photos to the cloud, eliminate old files that are no longer relevant. This can free up much needed space.
BACKUP – This cannot be stressed enough! We encounter people/businesses that do not have proper backup and it causes major problems. Imagine losing a month or even a week of data? For most businesses this can cause irreparable problems.
Contact ThinkSpace IT for help with your backup and antivirus.
